PERSONAL PROTECTION DOG
The Ultimate Security Device.
It is no secret in this day and age that everyone is a target.  From carjackers to burglars, to pedophiles, it seems no neighborhood is safe.  Add to that the decrease in funding for local law enforcement agencies and you have a recipe for disaster.

There are many steps that you can take to make your family safer.  Experts tell us to be aware of our surroundings at all times and not to put ourselves in dangerous places at dangerous times.  You should also make sure that your home is secure with proper locks and doors.  Some people install security systems.

Unfortunately, security systems have a few bugs to work out.  According to the Justice Department, in 1998, 10 percent to 25 percent of all calls to the police nationwide were response to burglar alarms.  Out of the 38 million burglar alarm calls they received, 98 percent were false.  As recently as 2001 police in Los Angeles reported 97 percent of the burglar alarms they received were false.  Would you take a report of a burglar alarm going off as a priority if you were in law enforcement?

Enter the personal protection dog.  Sometimes if a criminal sees that you have a large dog in your home or with you, it's enough to make them move on to an easier target.  That isn't always the case, however.
Most people hope that if challenged, their dog would protect them.  That also isn't always true.  Training for any situation is the only way to know for sure.

Do all dogs have the aptitude for this kind of training?  Not necessarily. The dog must have the right mix of a stable, social confident temperament, and courage and tenacity.  You must be able to have total control of your dog as well.

Do all people have the aptitude for this kind of training?  Again, not always.  A good candidate must be extremely responsible and seriously dedicated to the commitment of training their dog.

There is nothing like the secure feeling that a trained personal protection dog can give you and your family.  When he has been put to the test, and there is no guessing about what he will do, you will find yourself with real peace of mind.
